CONSTRUCTION
- RSA - Installation of 1000 ton slagment silo with pneumatic transfer system.
- RSA - Designed, project managed, scheduled, procured materials, and built a 4-bedroomed, double garage, two-storey house.
- RSA - Designed and supervised installation of space saving overhead offices.
- RSA - Designed, costed, scheduled & supervised, modernization of canteen, kitchen,
Changerooms and toilets facilities.
- UK - Scheduled & supervised, modernization of canteen and kitchen.
INFORMATION SYSTEMS
- UK - Project Management of complete ERP System preparation (2 years).
- USA - Installed 10-user Local Area Network using Novell ELS II.
SYSTEMS IMPROVEMENT
- UK - Designed, installed, trained and commissioned, Shop floor personnel Self-Help Expense Stores System incorporating mainframe-to-PC daily downloading.
- UK - Designed and installed Accidents Database for monitoring, analysing and
reporting accident statistics. Later duplicated for a second plant.
- USA - Designed Customized computer based systems (Job details, worker performance).
- UK - Designed, installed and commissioned Supplier Performance Analysis and Reporting System – caused much improved communication with suppliers.
PLANT RELOCATION
- UK - Inter city relocation of automotive component manufacturing facility.
- RSA - Inter city relocation of food processing facility.
PROCESS IMPROVEMENT
- UK - Redesigned and project managed Effluent Process modification (large annual savings).
MOTOR RACING
- USA - Project Managed preparation of Group C racecar for Le Mans endurance race.
FOOD PROCESSING
- RSA/Transkei - Ice-cream turnkey project (design, financial evaluation, finance house liaison,
schedule, plant procurement, installation and, commissioning).
- RSA/Botswana - Project manifesto for dairy product facility (included civils, plant, process and,
services design, specifications, detail drawings, costing, market survey, production planning,
financial evaluation and, production processing procedures.
- RSA/Botswana – Assisted in Botswana Marula Fruit Juice development project.
- RSA - Designed, completed drawings, specifications, plant layout, and bill of materials. Costed,
procured plant, supervised installation, and commissioned complete meat processing system.
- RSA - Re-organised entire factory plant including power supply and distribution upgrade.
- RSA - Converted twin flue oil fired boiler to coal fired and designed automatic controls.
